This is a map of two roughly circular leys from a cup-marked stone
placed
directly over Scotland's Highland Boundary Fault, shewn in red.
The HBF is
the power source of this ley.
This is only a
small part of an immensely
complicated system and my book "Ley
Lines and Earth Energies"
is the first book (see above) to show
how the ley system works.

Below is the
dumb
bell cup mark on a recumbent stone at Foulford Inn, Perthshire, which
represents the cup-mark ley line shewn above.
 Notice
this type of ley is attracted to a huge resonant cavity, the
Druids Cave, and also to bodies of water, centreing on Loch Tay, and is
warped into two circuits by Machuim stone circle - that is one of the
secrets of stone circles!.
Cup-mark leys contour
around hills, like Ben Lawers in this case.
Using
this dumb-bell shaped ley line, plus another two satellite cup-marks on
a recumbent stone (see above) we can extrapolate these strange energy
fields across Scotland and Northern England (below).
Ley Line Map
Straight
leys have a wavelength of around 2 metres
and travel across the country in straight
lines.
Cup-marked leys
have a wavelength of perhaps 7 metres and tend to contour the hills.
Burial
grounds were carefully placed on the outer edge of
both types of ley and
probably also where a geological fault crossed beneath.
Our ancestors were aware
of the necessity of placing their dead on
these power points, presumably to dump their malevolent energies back
into the planet.
